Twins18th birthday

Today is my twins 18th birthday. It sure don't seem like its been that long since they have been around. They were half grown up when they were born. I have a son James who weighed 8lb 14 oz and I have a daughter Felicia who weighed 8lbs 3 oz at birth. How I managed to carry that much weight before delivery was very hard to say the least. They were born on their due date so that explains their weight. It wouldn't have hurt to have had them early but they were in no big hurry to get here. Now, they are practically grown up. James is set to graduate from Shepherd on May28th and Felicia is set to graduate from Chippewa Hills on June 6th. I divorced their dad when they were 7 so eventually the twins were split between their dad and I which is why they go to separate schools. So today, the twins want to go to the casino in Mt. Pleasant so will be taking them there.

In memory of Ray

My exhusband just passed away so I thought I might start my blog with a tribute to him. His name was Ray DeFoy. We got together in 1998. That was the year my mom passed away. Like my mom's passing, Ray's passing was a terrible blow to me. I had known him a total of 11 years. 8 of those years we lived together and were married for 7 of those 8 years. We divorced in 2006 but we parted as friends. He helped to raise my twins who were 7 at the time of our get together and now today, my twins turn 18 and Ray misses their big birthday and graduation this spring. Yea, Ray and I have had alot of good times and bad times but we got through them together. Ray changed our lives. He will be missed. Ray DeFoy
